Garstone Design is a proudly Australian furniture manufacturer, producing high-quality leather lounges and recliners for over 40 years. We are currently seeking skilled and motivated process workers to join our team at our Carole Park factory.

About the Role:

Hands-on roles focus on building actions, assembly recliners and pre-upholster leather furniture, primarily lounges and recliners. The work demands precision, efficiency, and attention to detail. You will be working with high-grade leather, foam, and timber frames, contributing to the creation of premium Australian-made furniture.

We are ideally looking for:

  • A motivated individual with some experience, who is eager to learn quickly and become highly skilled.
  • We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude and some experience using hand tools, air tools, or power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble precut timber, foam and spring components as per instructions.
  • Assemble mechanical parts and actions for recliners.
  • Preparing and fitting foam, fabric, and leather materials.
  • Reading and following job cards accurately.
  • Working to productivity targets and maintaining a low defect rate.
  • Help out other areas if required, including truck loading
  • Contributing to a safe, clean, and cooperative team environment.
