Our client, an established and growing Confectionery Importer, owns and sells a wide range of premium confectionery, snacks, novelties, jellies, drinks, and ice pops across Australia, covering all the major distribution channels.

**The Role**
As the Office Assistant, you will be supporting the Office Manager with the office experience for both visitors and employees.

You will be an important team member, tasked with meeting and greeting our external visitors, managing our meeting rooms and ensuring the smooth and effective running of the office.

With a passion for customer service, you will be a key contributor to the company's customer experience.

The role would suit an enthusiastic, confident team player with an engaging and proactive work ethic seeking to support a team of dedicated professionals within a professional and supportive team.

This is an ideal position for a recent graduate, customer service advisor, retail/store assistant, receptionist and the likes who is wanting to get more involved with the daily management of the office.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Office Coordination
- Stock management: stationery orders, kitchen supplies, internal & sample product management etc
- Courier management
- Customer service
- Meeting all visitors and managing meeting rooms
- Ensure all customer calls are received and managed with a customer-centric approach
- Product management
- General admin support to the wider business
- Assistance with bookkeeping, banking and credit control

**To be considered for the position, you will possess the following**:

- A strong ability to communicate with others, both written and oral;
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision;
- Be proactive and friendly;
- Strong attention to detail is required, along with an engaging and professional style.
- Basic bookkeeping experience would be desirable.
- Residing in Australia with unrestricted working rights.
- Must live locally or in immediate surroundings.
