**This Opportunity**
Reporting to the Senior Resilience Manager, the Business Continuity Program Manager will play a key role in delivering on those commitments by ensuring that TPG Telecom’s continuity plans are effective and fit-for-purpose, and residual continuity capability gaps are known and actioned.
This role is accountable for supporting the delivery of the Group Business Continuity Management (BCM) lifecycle and provides a service which helps critical process owners build robust BCPs. You will partner with the business to identify critical processes and the key dependencies on which they rely. You will use your knowledge and experience to simplify the complexities of business disruption-related risk and have practical conversations which help guide business owners towards building resilient dependency arrangements and/or robust continuity and recovery plans for their day-to-day operations.

- Lead program delivery of business continuity activities and help drive the implementation of corporate BCM procedures across the business
- Support the business to analyse the impact on, and risk to, essential business functions and key dependencies via facilitated business impact analyses
- Partner with critical process owners to provide guidance and expertise around appropriate continuity strategy selection to help build effective BCPs
- Track and monitor remediation plans to help BCP Owners close continuity capability gaps; and ensure that residual continuity capability gaps are transparently communicated to and understood by key stakeholders
- Track and monitor BCP effectiveness to ensure that our BCPs maintain a suitable level of readiness for disruptive events
- Develop and facilitate realistic BCP testing and exercise scenarios, based on current, emerging and/or topical threats to TPG’s day-to-day operations
- Partner with the business to conduct meaningful post-incident reviews, facilitate retrospectives and implement changes and uplift controls where necessary
- Develop and maintain a suite of dashboards and reports for key stakeholder groups including critical process owners, critical asset owners, risk managers, BC coordinators and other second-line functions
- Conduct BCM training and education sessions and promote business continuity across a range of communication channels to build a risk-aware culture
- Participate in major incidents response to manage emergencies and crises
- Support Enterprise and Government customer BCP requirements and attestations
**Knowledge and Experience**
- 5+ years in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Incident and Crisis Management or related risk disciplines
- Knowledge and understanding of business continuity’s context within wider risk and resilience-related disciplines (e.g, Disaster Recovery, Supply Chain Resilience, Cyber Security, Information Security, Physical Security and HSW)
- Strong understanding of ISO22301 and certification to a professional body such as CBCI or MBCI would be advantageous
- Confidence with data and analysis; and experience with developing metrics, reporting and dashboards for control effectiveness
- Telecommunications or Technology industry experience highly valued
- Experience with (or ability to master) GRC software solutioning
- Self-motivated, collaborative, resilient, with an adaptive and agile working style
- Effective communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
