Maakre Transport Pty Ltd T/as Maakre Transport seeks full-time Transport Operations Manager for the allocation, coordination and management of a fleet of 40+ vehicles with secure warehousing locations around Australia. Established in 2019, Maakre Transport is freight and logistics company that provides shipping services for various industries, including automotive, construction, electronics, and healthcare.

The position is located at our head office in Gosford, NSW.

The role includes:
**Responsibilities**:

- Organise and control the company’s fleet of vehicles to efficiently provide goods transport services for our clients
- In charge of the day-to-day operations of our transport and logistics company.

Main Duties:

- Efficiently managing a team of drivers and vehicles.
- Responsible for all the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles.
- Managing, monitoring and developing a team of drivers and line managers.
- Developing and nurturing customer relationships.
- Organizing vehicle checks.
- Identifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.
- Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- Responsible for all H&S investigations.

To be selected you must have:

- Minimum of 2 years proven experience of in a similar operations management role, preferably within the transport or logistics industry
- Diploma in business management / logistics / transport management or minimum of 3 years’ experience to substitute formal qualification.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the industry
- Excellent Organizational Skills.
- Exceptional Communication Skills
- Strong Leadership and Team Management skills
- Resilience and Adaptability

We are offering excellent working conditions and a starting gross salary of $85,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus
