As our Principal External Funds Coordinator (PEFC), your responsibilities will include:

- Provide coordination for all Research Infrastructure's legal contracts with external clients.
- Provide advice and direct assistance in the preparation, negotiation, execution and management of legal contracts (including lease, licence to occupy, memorandum of understanding, contractor and field trial agreements).
- Manage the business relationships between DAF and external clients to ensure communication is effective and appropriate, issues are identified and resolved, and risks are minimised.
- Consult with DAF legal and finance teams to obtain advice on any non-standard contract terms, externally developed contracts, complex financial arrangements, or potentially contentious issues.
- Manage the execution, distribution and retention of contracts and ensure the DAF contract management database contains complete and accurate information and documentation.
- Oversee contract management processes including monitoring of service delivery, managing risks, communicating with internal and external clients, initiating contract variations (as required), raising tax invoices, and completing contract closeout.
- Provide advice, risk assessments, and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with Queensland Government and DAF policies and procedures pertaining to legal contracts and client communications.
- Undertake financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, customer invoicing, debtor management, vendor payments, journal processing, and other ad-hoc requests.
- Promote DAF as a reputable, leading edge research provider with external clients and other collaborators.
