**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a Research Grants and Contracts Officer, you'll be in charge of managing and reporting on research projects and contracts within the faculty. Your day will consist of working closely with academics and administrative staff in different centers to ensure smooth support for research administration across the board.
**DUTIES**
- Coordinate research projects and contracts, ensuring alignment with budget requirements
- Assist in reporting updates on research grants and improve internal reporting processes
- Implement faculty research guidelines, collaborate with team members, and undertake additional duties as needed
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Background in research administration and project coordination
- Effective time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong systems proficiency
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to use tact and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters
**BENEFITS**
- Competitive hourly rate of $45 - $48 per hour + super
- Flexible hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH
