**About the Role**

To be the first point of contact & to provide exceptional Customer Service to all customers & internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing international Inbound and Outbound freight and ensuring that all operational standards are met. Also responsible for the overall day to day coordination of services.

This position will provide full training on site. The client is flexible with working from home once fully trained. It also may require the occasional Saturday morning shift.

**Your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all external and internal customers
- Ensuring customers are updated regarding their shipment's status
- Monitoring shipments until they are delivered and billed
- Providing rates to customers upon request
- Monitoring the transit time of each shipment and informing the customer
- Ensuring the shipments clear Australian customs
- Handling and resolving customer issues and complaints promptly and in timely manner
- Sourcing proof of delivery
- Effectively working with Account Managers and the team cohesively
- Excellent communication skills (speaking, listening and writing)
- Previous experience within a Freight Coordination/ logistics-based position
- Ability to take ownership and make informed decisions
- Good attitude - willing to go above and beyond
- Strong attention to detail
- One-year previous sales experience desirable
- Degree or Higher-level education
- A second language would be an advantage

This is a temporary contract with the possibility of going permanent.
