The Star Sydney have an opportunity for a **Handyperson** to join our Property Operations team In this role, you will work alongside over 60 Technicians and skilled Handypersons who are part of our Property Operations team over a 24/7 rotating roster, undertaking responsibility for maintaining all aspects of our Sydney property.

**What will my day look like?**
- General maintenance, repair work and cleaning duties for furniture, fittings and equipment throughout the property
- Preventative assessments and maintenance on gaming and other equipment
- Maintaining the cleanliness of plant rooms and other Facilities Department spaces
- Assist the Maintenance Technician’s in their daily duties as required

**What are we looking for?**
- Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays as required)
- Previous experience in a technical, industrial building or construction environment as a trade assistant
- Effective communication skills & strong passion for team drive
- Knowledge of building services relating to their respective trade & ability to work unsupervised.
- Proven proficiency in respective trade with a passion to develop in either preferred Electric, Carpentry or Joinery
