**The Role**
The National Health and Wellbeing Manager provides workplace psychological safety and wellbeing leadership and management expertise in the pursuit of continuous improvement across Workplace Safety and People & Culture outcomes. The position also manages the workers compensation claims and injury management functions, including the meeting of obligations as a NSW self-insurer by ensuring adherence to all legislative and other requirements.

The position aims to influence a culture of psychological risk management, wellbeing promotion and to support recovery through strategic and tactical initiatives.

**About You**:
Essential technical and behavioural skills:

- 3-5 years’ experience in managing worker’s compensation self-insurance and injury management
- Organisational psychology or a lead role in the development and execution of a wellbeing strategy in a large national organisation
- Knowledge of employee relations and workplace safety
- A clear, confident and concise communicator who can help stakeholders understand important information
- A strategic thinker who sees the big picture
- Self-motivated and proactive, someone who goes looking for opportunities and takes the opportunity to pre-empt problems
- Focused on the direction of the Company and adapts projects accordingly to compliment
- An exceptional influencer, able to work with others to shape business outcomes
- A strong presenter who can engage and influence small audiences
- Skilled at diagnosing gaps and developing strategies to support individuals to improve and grow
- Organised, methodical and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple projects at once
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Great at building strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers, stakeholders and third parties.
