**The role**:
As the Operational Excellence Specialist,** **you will be responsible for identifying and prioritising opportunities to reshape Medibank and how we work to deliver a leaner organisation, whilst improving or maintaining customer and employee experience, risk and cost-base. The role will involve supporting diagnostics, conducting analysis and synthesising data into digestible formats.

**Your impact**
- Supporting enterprise-wide reviews to identify and build in year and multi-year programs of work which deliver significant benefits that consider a variety of factors
- Articulating the Operational Excellence strategy and ‘size of prize’ as well as the value of macro initiatives
- Documenting diagnostic outputs in a simple and easy to follow format that is supported with clear and robust assumptions and underlying data
- Engaging and influencing business units to act and implement initiatives that will advance shared interest and goals
- Developing financial and performance baselines to ‘size the prize’ supported by documented assumptions and data that has been agreed with by the business

**About you**

You will have significant experience delivering enterprise level productivity programs across value chains, either on the business or consulting side. You’re a critical and strategic thinker who is comfortable challenging status quo, driving innovation and will have proven success in delivering transformation projects that have delivered tangible outcomes.

**Must have skills**
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to produce easy to follow outputs with clear recommendations
- An Enterprise mindset that considers opportunities with a 360-lens including customer experience, employee experience, cost pools and risk controls
- Experience leading improvement/transformation projects that have delivered tangible outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Prior experience as a Consultant, delivering efficiency reviews with a focus on cost, customer & employee experience and risk and growth is highly desirable
