**Job Description** Oaks Brisbane Festival Suites**are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance department on a **full-time** basis.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Undertake general property repairs and maintenance as required.
- Assist in the execution of the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Provide induction and supervision of external contractors as required.
- Maintain accurate daily work records and service schedules.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in managing contractor works and maintenance projects.
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday roster (some weekend work may be required)
- Afterhours callouts may be required on an ad hoc basis

**Qualifications** The successful applicant will have**:

- Previous hands-on building or property maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience supporting or implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Sound organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
