**About the Role**

The **Head of Segments **plays a pivotal role in establishing and driving an end-to-end employer and injured worker proposition for the defined segment with the objective of driving better experience and outcomes for employers and injured workers recognising the fundamental differences in their needs.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Head of Segments**, you will:

- Lead the design and delivery of the Small/Medium/Large segment strategy utilising CX and data driven insights to define differentiated service propositions that will drive better experiences and outcomes for employers and injured workers.
- Act as overarching “Product Manager” for Small/Medium/Large product
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new propositions to life, ensuring they are competitive and profitable.
- Influence and leverage internal offerings across service operations, risk management, underwriting, pricing, prevention, communications and claims management to ensure alignment of services against segment needs.
- Support the design and prioritisation of Transformation, claims and service initiatives and strategies to ensure alignment with segment strategies
- Manage the Small/Medium/Large segment profit and loss to deliver financial objectives in line with scheme strategies across portfolio and claims including expense and budget management
- Ensure scheme sustainability by understanding the statutory landscape and identifying opportunities that will improve outcomes for employers and injured workers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant governing legislation and regulatory obligations related to the segment
- Directly oversee the activities of the Small/Medium/Large segment team which encompass product and proposition development and segment relationship management
- Drive a high performing culture aligned to our icare values and Core Capability Framework that maximises efficiency & effectiveness to support and monitor business plans in a changing environment, whilst anticipating changes in our customer’s needs.

***Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Ideally 10 years proven working experience in Proposition development and delivery related roles with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Personal Injury fields
- In-depth knowledge of Workers Compensation regulations and industry trends.
- Preference for experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

- Product management
- Pricing
- Proposition development
- Customer experience design and delivery
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
