**The opportunity**

As a Product Specialist for the Ophthalmic Surgical Team you will enjoy working with a team of individuals who all possess their own special talents, that like to collaborate with both their peers and with others across the Device Technologies network, to deliver surgeons and patients tailored product solutions for better health outcomes. You will have the benefit of representing a product portfolio that is rapidly evolving and expanding in order bring the latest technology to market - making the role dynamic, interesting and never boring Due to a high performing team member taking on another opportunity, we have an opening in our high energy Queensland Ophthalmic Surgical Team.

You may be currently working in the Ophthalmic industry in a sales or clinical capacity. Alternatively, you may be working in an optometry practice and have a working knowledge of the Ophthalmic industry through your need to refer patients for further advice or surgery. Conversely you may be currently selling into another surgical speciality, have experience in operating theatre protocols, and looking for a new challenge.

**Experience required**:

- 3 years of experience in a clinical/surgical environment is highly desirable
- An in-depth knowledge of eye anatomy, visual systems, and eye conditions is highly desirable
- Previous sales experience including ability to sell technical/complex products is highly desirable
- High level of communication skills - both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Bachelor’s Degree is desirable
- Systems/IT experience inc. SAP (_Desirable_), Excel (_Mandatory_), Salesforce CRM (_Highly Desirable_)

**Other Requirements**:

- An Australian Open Driver’s License
