**The opportunity**

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced clinical and/or sales professional to join the Device Technologies Spine team in Brisbane. The role will focus on growing sales across the entire DT spine portfolio whilst building strong long term customer partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities include....**
- Manage cases when and where required, thereby freeing-up Product Specialists to focus on generating sustainable revenue growth.
- Enhance case management abilities via ongoing development of procedural and product knowledge, i.e. continuous self-learning.
- Manage sales territories when Product Specialists are unavailable (e.g. on Leave, travelling etc.).
- Immediately post implant / instrument usage for each procedure attended, ensure debrief with Surgeon in order to:

- Establish likes/dislikes regarding product/procedure;
- Reaffirm their preference for DT products;
- General focus on building meaningful business relationships with Surgeons and relevant support staff (i.e. Scout Nurses, Scrub Nurses, Anaesthetists, NUM’s, CSSD etc.).
- Specific focus on building meaningful business relationships with ‘new’ Surgeons.
- Be available (and suitably organised, i.e. carry appropriate samples etc.) to support business growth opportunities with Surgeons whenever the opportunity arises.
- Accurately document (Salesforce) all valid Surgeon interactions (e.g. product, procedural etc.), and pass on information, in a timely fashion, to relevant Product Specialist(s)
- Monitor Hospital stock levels (both owned and consigned) and act upon reordering opportunities.
- Assist Product Specialists to develop/execute Hospital set-up.
- Proactively liaise with Product Specialists to ensure all sustainable business growth opportunities are follow-up in a timely fashion
- Liaise with Product Specialists/Business Management to develop ongoing sales tactics.
- Chase-up outstanding PO’s as and when required (with a particular focus on end of month).

**Experience required**:

- 1 year of experience
- Relevant tertiary education in the sciences or business
- Proven skills in sales, territory management, presenting, influencing and time management
- Demonstrated competence in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel
- Previous experience in medical device sales is advantageous
