Right now we are seeking technically minded people who want to transition into a role that is off the tools, while still being able to utilize their hard earned skills.

Joining a large organisation that is prominent within the Automotive sector, we are seeking an Automotive Lighting Product Specialists.

Your role will be part of the merchandise team specifically focused on working closely with suppliers, looking for innovations and improvements to existing and new products in your category, products that will be sold in their extensive Branch Network

This will see you
- Reviewing product suitability and quality for the Australian / New Zealand markets.
- Providing insights to suppliers to develop new products
- Working to understand customer needs and wants and identifying opportunities for improvement within our current product offering
- Managing the product life cycle from inception through to end of life
- Testing products, and providing ongoing technical support to the store network and customer base
- Working collaboratively with other departments and engaging stakeholders to ensure new products are delivered efficiently and effectively

You will draw on your technical skills gained from being on the tools.

To go with this, it would be preferable if you have developed your business skills. Ideally your computer skills are advanced, as is your ability to manage stakeholders, build relationships and deliver outcomes.

The role will be largely office based, but you will still have the opportunity to work hands on with parts components.
