- We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Claims Consultant to join our growing team, who thrives on providing specialised claims advice and guidance to clients and fostering long term business relationships._

**About the Opportunity**

Joining the BAC claims team as an experienced Claims Consultant, you will become an integral part of our diverse team. You will assist our client’s when they need our support the most, facing loss and damage to their property.

You will liaise with all key stakeholders, including broking teams, to achieve favourable client outcomes for claims and underwriting.

This role would suit someone with a loss adjusting or claims background.

**Key Requirements**
- 2 years + loss adjusting or claims consultant experience.
- Effectively manages ones’ time and resources to ensure new and existing losses reported are triaged and assessed in a timely manner.
- Accurately identify loss or damage extent and quantum, premium impacts, risks and recommended actions.
- Effectively explore and utilise all sections of the policy wording to reach favourable outcomes.
- Proactively communicate clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes and claim progress to all stakeholders.
- Demonstrate concern for completeness and accuracy around tasks, information and file management.
- Conduct onsite inspections to evaluate losses and property conditions, support client’s and establish next steps.
- Deliver professional and exceptional customer service when interacting with customers and clients.
- Clearly document all decisions made and reasons, including ownership details, reserve changes and acceptance/rejection of claims.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
