- CLAIMS CONSULTANT - Full Time- We are currently looking for a Claims Consultant to join the Sedgwick Third Party Administration team based in the Sydney area.- Primary Purpose of the role- Proactive management of a portfolio of claims to accurately determine eligibility and progressing the claim towards a suitable outcome
- Demonstrating an evidence-based approach to establishing an appropriate claim management strategy and the maintenance of accurate claim financial data including claim reserves
- Utilising embedded processes to identify potential fraud indicators and recovery opportunities relating to a claim
- Preparation of detailed and accurate communications to external parties including formulating declinature and/or settlement recommendations
- Handle complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Appropriately engaging and actively managing external suppliers relevant to the product line to aid in the management of complex claims
- Adopting a positive and outcome focused approach to dealing with claimants and being able to identify vulnerable customers and provide appropriate escalation of the same in-line with Sedgwick process
- Maintaining adherence to all SLA and KPI requirements incl. Sedgwick, customer and GICOP principles
- Resolving complaints where appropriate or the escalation of these in-line with Sedgwick complaints handling framework
- Timely and accurate entry of all claim data into relevant claim reporting databases and management information tools-
