Manage the HR Operations for a specific portfolio with Department of Health and Wellbeing

**Your new company**
Based in Adelaide's CBD, the Department of Health and Wellbeing are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support their busy team.
This is a temporary vacancy to commence immediately until the end of the financial year and is suited to an operational Human Resources Partner who is comfortable working in the ASO 5 - 6 classification.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources and partnering a portfolio of approximately 330 employees, as the operational Human Resources specialist, you will provide advice, guidance and expertise in the areas of employee and industrial relations, leadership and talent development, along with workforce management.

Day to day includes, but not limited to:

- Contribute to development and implementation of HR strategic initiatives
- Provide support to managers on employee relations, performance management, award interpretation and legislation and ensure any matters are dealt with in line with company policies and procedures
- Provide coaching and development to managers to enhance their leadership capability
- Development and analysis of HR metrics
- Develop and implement communication and engagement initiatives
- Support with talent acquisition across your region as required

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be clear and confident in your advice to a broad range of socio-economic and cultural groups are key requirements to fulfil this opportunity.
