Hays Technology in Geelong are currently partnered with a large Public Sector organization located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint Business System Coordinator on 4-5 months contract role with a view of extension. This will be a hybrid role working from home and Geelong office location. **Your new role**
In this role, You will be responsible for leading and implementing key change initiatives within the Insurance Business Unit, company’s print & communications vendor. You will be responsible for printing, communication and scanning and imaging capability is effectively managed and delivered.
Key accountabilities:
- Develop business requirements for all communication packages processed by print communication vendor and scanning and imaging vendor.
- Deliver governance support for the relevant systems governance groups, including vendor management and internal governance.
- Support implementation of new system processes and improvements to the current system processes to minimize Agent workload and to ensure audit and legislative requirements are met
- Liaise with others within the Insurance Business Unit, within network to develop business requirements into communication packages for employers, injured workers, and providers.
- Identify stakeholders and make recommendations regarding their involvement/influence on project outcomes.
- Determine the best approach to implement new change and make recommendations accordingly.
- Undertake the role of Business Analyst and/or Change Manager interchangeably with the purpose of leading the business through transformation.
- Undertake as required within the team quality audits, SLA assessments and support for incident management relating to communications and scanning and imaging.
- Work as part of a broader team in in delivering system for insurance interactions and provide mentoring support for other team members.
- Adhere to all company’s policies and procedures and any legislative requirements relevant to this position
- Any other reasonable and related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of company
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Relevant Experience working as Business Analyst / System Analyst / Change Analyst with good understanding of vendor management.
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of programs - Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneNote is required
- Excellent planning, organisation, and analytical skills
- Ability to set priorities and solve problems, and to communicate to upper management regarding escalations, project progress, scheduling, and challenges facing any implementation or rollout
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
