As a Release Manager, you’ll work across the tribes to enable effective and efficient Production releases within our complex IT landscape. You’ll play a pivotal role in the end-to-end release management process, from planning and scheduling releases to managing risks, communication, and quality assurance.
Tou will be a part of an environment where you see how your role directly influences production health and stability and where you get to define processes for the organization.
**What **you’ll** do**
- Owning the release process and be accountable and responsible for the overall quality of the releases
- Release Change Management - making sure all changes are delivered into Production according to the change management process (CAB, PRAM, cross tribe coordination, technical guidance, socialization).
- Working with the tribes to ensure a consistent release process.- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
- Participate in Change Control meetings for Change Request approval.
- Coordinating with all departments involved in the release process.
- Improve and grow the current release process.
- Championing and consistently demonstrating the behaviours and mindset that support Agile One Way of Working within ING.
**What **we’re** looking for**
- Deep knowledge and understanding with our core technology, including J2EE,.NET, Azure DevOps, GIT Branching & Merging
- Experience with Agile and DevOps tooling **- Azure DevOps is **a **must**
- Familiarity with Test plans and CICD pipelines as well as familiarity with Test plans and CICD pipelines
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills
- A self-motivated individual with ability to prioritise to achieve exceptional outcomes while with working with moving targets and be proficient in scheduling releases based on urgency/priority.
