**We have permanent, part-time roles available with two shift options to fit your schedule. See shift options below.**

**What you’ll do**

At Shannon’s it’s all about our customers and the positive impact we can make in their lives and communities. As a Motor Enthusiast Underwriter, you will be:

- Taking incoming calls from our new and existing customers
- Providing information and product knowledge to identify the right level of insurance protection to meet the customers requirement.
- Strive to make the complex simple whilst ensuring the customers’ needs are met
- Share your passion for motoring and provide a unique service to ensure your customers can drive or ride forward with confidence, knowing they are covered by Shannons

**What you’ll bring**
- A genuine passion for cars or motorbikes is essential
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build strong rapport with customers
- Proven problem-solving skills with a talent for simplifying complex issues for customers
- A strong drive to meet and exceed targets, demonstrating consistent motivation
- Eager to expand your knowledge and contribute ideas through innovative thinking
- High technical proficiency with experience navigating multiple systems

**Shifts & Hours**

We are currently recruiting for **part-time** positions for the below shift options:

- **Option 1**: Sat, Mon, Thurs, Fri - 30 hours per week - start window between 8am-10am on weekdays and 9am start on Saturday
- **Option 2**: Sat, Mon, Fri - 22.5 hours per week - start time is 8am on week days and 6am on Saturdays.
- ‘Start window’ means you can be asked to start at any time between the hours shown. You must be able to fully commit to the shift shown._

**Training Period**

If successful, we are offering **7 weeks full time, paid training (Monday - Friday from 8.30am until 4.30pm)**, commencing on the Wednesday 13th November. This training will be held **onsite** at our Artarmon, Sydney office.

**Work from home requirements**

As this role will be a combination of onsite attendance and work from home you will need to be set up accordingly. You will be provided with a Suncorp laptop; however, you must organise the following:

- Home phone line or VOIP connection
- Good quality internet connection, ergonomic set up including keyboard, mouse, dual screens, desk, chair and a private space.
