**About the team**:
We are Australia’s trade remedies authority - the Anti-Dumping Commission. The commission is responsible for undertaking investigations into allegations of unfair international trade practices involving goods entering Australia and administering Australia’s anti-dumping legislation. These investigations seek to deliver a level playing field for industry. Professionalism, excellence and independence underpins the commission’s world-class reputation.

- A thorough understanding of corporate and governance processes including budgets, procurement, human resources and ministerial processes.

- An understanding of, or the ability to quickly acquire an understanding of, the anti-dumping environment and system.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment.
**What you will do**:
The Executive Officer to the Commissioner will provide high-level executive support on organisational matters, monitor and report on various operational issues, and prepare communications and correspondence. The officer will also:
- Support Executive meetings, including preparing papers and overseeing secretariat functions.
- Collate and analyse data to advise the Commissioner on strategic and operational matters.
- Collaborate across the commission and with stakeholders, managing commission priorities.
- Prepare, manage, and review high-level communications and correspondence.
- Identify and address emerging issues, coordinating communication and ensuring responses meet deadlines.
- Provide issues management and support, resolving emerging issues with mínimal risk.
- Lead and contribute to projects to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
- Manage and supervise the executive unit.
