The opportunity
- Due to ongoing growth within the business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Allocator to join our Government & Defence business unit on the Australian Border Force contract in Banksmeadow. As a Fleet Allocator, you will play a crucial role in optimising the allocation and deployment of company and subcontractor vehicles to meet operational and contractual requirements.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the safe transport of containers from various container terminals to the client’s facility and scheduling subsequent return to the terminals.
- Your duties will include:
- Efficiently allocate vehicles to meet daily operational requirements.-
- Maintain optimal routes for vehicles based on destination, urgency, and load requirements.-
- Create and adjust daily schedules to accommodate changes in demand or unforeseen circumstances.-
- Liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and other relevant personnel to ensure clear communication of assignments and expectations.-
- Provide daily operational updates and recaps.-
- Ensure that all fleet operations comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies.- Benefits:
