We are now recruiting for an energetic and self-motivated **Corporate Development Manager** to join our senior leader group. You will provide strategic advice and analysis to the Executive Leadership team on IMB’s short and long-term growth strategies, and provide valuable business advisory and communications support directly to the CEO.

You will make an important contribution to IMB Bank’s strategic corporate development and planning processes through the preparation business cases and written proposals and by undertaking financial modelling and due diligence to support critical decision making, strategic initiatives and investment decisions.

**About the role**

Key responsibilities will include:

- Forming recommendations supported by robust financial modelling, due diligence and assessment of opportunities and risks
- Present financial analysis, business cases, risk mitigation strategies and recommended execution plans to senior stakeholders
- Independently leading discrete strategic projects or work-streams on larger projects
- Providing business support to the CEO on tactical, strategic and operational matters including programs of works relating to ESG and climate action
- Preparing communications, information and presentations for the CEO, Executive and Board to build engagement around the corporate vision and long-term goals
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

**About you**
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field (postgraduate qualification: CA, CPA, MBA, CFA, or Master of Applied Finance considered favourably)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, strategic development, corporate consulting, and/or similar in-house role
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience in stakeholder management
- Advanced financial modelling and business analytical skills
- Strategic thinking skills - the ability to structure complex and ambiguous issues, to deliver well-supported data-backed recommendations and to problem solve on corporate level issues
- Experience manipulating large data sets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience within the financial services industry advantageous
