**The role**

The Engagement and Strategy Coordinator is responsible for leading the development and implementation of robust strategies and initiatives to support HIA’s Key Account Management and Policy implementation processes and priorities for the New South Wales (NSW) region.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Policy, commercial and program reporting;
- Key Account Management;
- Delivery of action plans;
- Determining risk, identifying and implementing solutions;
- Regular engagement with stakeholders in the residential building and construction industry;
- Establishing and maintaining networks to promote the delivery of HIA strategies and initiatives; and
- Writing submissions, correspondence, speaking notes, and media releases as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and self-motivated individual who can demonstrate:

- Experience in developing and managing business networks;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- The skills of a fast learner, able to grasp both policy and commercial imperatives;
- Being a trusted and collaborative team player able to coordinate and lead as required; and
- The ability to work effectively & seamlessly across a range of areas.

Tertiary qualifications in a related field and experience using and reporting from a customer management system would be viewed favourably.
