**What you’ll do**
- This role involves:_
- Facilitate the development of the North Ryde site supply strategy including KPIs to deliver the strategy including T-map, Scorecard, Tier and other tools to proactively target and measure success, aligning with local budget/resource plan
- Lead the site Lean team to improve business performance in line with the Operations Lean Strategy
- Uplift Lean and Digital capabilities within the North Ryde site
- Proactively identify opportunities to drive standardisation, simplification & improvement, increase efficiency and deliver results whilst maintaining compliance.
- Influence the site teams on use of their processes by driving performance, accountability, and clarification of what needs to be accomplished, why and the significance for the individual and/or organisation.
- Seek input for diverse views and works across boundaries to establish common purpose and goals to deliver value to the business.
- Collaborate with AsiaPac & Global Lean Process Owners to develop the North Ryde AZ Lean strategic approach to drive standardised ways of working.
- Design and implement KPI system and common site approach for visual management strategies.
- Coach the Lean team, PET and Support Services on process ownership approach and ensures the site follows Standard Ways of Working with a process for improvement.
- Provide support to the Lean team for larger and more complex projects.
- Ensure that key elements of strategy and company information are communicated within the department
- Foster a team culture of accountability, compliance and engagement in which employees are comfortable to speak up and raise questions or concerns

You will need significant knowledge of Lean principles, processes, tools, behaviours & leadership as well as a comprehensive understanding of the integration of Lean principles, systems, tools and behaviours.

**Essential for the role**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or related discipline.
- >5 years industry related experience in leading Lean/Six Sigma projects and programs
- Proven cross functional leadership skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines as needed.
- Experience in project, change, business case & budget management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build excellent relationships with customers.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Extensive working knowledge of statistical process control concepts, data analysis, diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Working knowledge of Lean Tools such as DMAIC process, VSM, Kaizen, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Mini-Tab, SPC-XL or other statistical analysis software.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.

**Desirable for the role**
- Experience in the pharmaceutical environment demonstrating knowledge of GXP requirements.
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Working knowledge of supply chain processes.
