**Full Job Description**
Based in the Inner Eastern suburbs, this professional services accounting firm is in need of an Receptionist/Administration Assistant to work with the team of accountants.
This unique opportunity offers the chance to further develop your reception skills and begin to take on more and more administration tasks.
**Skills/Experience Required**:
- Previous experience in an accounting firm
- Understanding of ASIC favorable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- XERO or MYOB AE experience, or another accounting software
**The Role**
- Perform administrative duties as required such as scanning, collating and binding, answering telephone calls, meeting & greeting clients, preparation of boardroom
- Assist accountants with lodgement, collations and any other admin requirements
- Handling ATO correspondence
- Collating tax returns and financial statements for Companies, Trusts, Superfunds and Individuals
- ASIC/ATO exposure
- Data entry
- Liaising with clients and the team of accountants regularly requesting additional information or general queries
- Collation and preparation of electronic workpapers
