**About this role**:
More specifically, you will:

- work with the wider business to pioneer our infrastructure strategy and roadmap
- work across a multi-cloud environment (AWS/GCP)
- manage network and access security using virtual network environments, firewall rulesets, and certificate/access key management;
**A bit about you**:

- You have led a team of devops engineers at a technology-driven company. You know how to scale a team as well as the technology.
- You have an extremely strong understanding of:

- ** cloud-based networking frameworks, including ACLs and gateways;**:

- ** microservice architectures and Kubernetes;**:

- ** both relational and non-relational DBMSs such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL;**:

- ** AWS and/or GCP.**:

- ** Multi-region (global) scaling, failover and uptime**
