**About the Role**
The IT team is integral to supporting the College in achieving its strategic and operational priorities, overseeing the full technology environment covering both current and future state. Operating within a complex hybrid ecosystem delivering scalable, intelligent solutions through effective cloud orchestration and system integration.
This position works collaboratively with IT infrastructure, data and analytics, and cyber security teams, and leads a team of developers, analysts, and platform owners. It also has oversight of ICT project delivery, vendor and contract management, risk and compliance alignment, and the end-to-end digital experience.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Member of the IT Leadership Team responsible for solution delivery and execution
- Provides both technical and non technical leadership and act as point of escalation for projects and complicated issues
- Build and lead an outcome-focused team of DevOps engineers, Developers, Cloud and System Administrators, and Quality Assurance Specialists.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders and senior leadership team, and be the trusted advisor
- Influence stakeholder attitudes, decisions, and actions for the organisation benefit
- Monitor, maintain and continuously improve technology systems, both on-premise and in the Cloud
- Working with Solution Architects to run proof of concepts and solution designs
- Identify, manage and mitigate risk from design decisions both at enterprise and project level
- Key stakeholder in technology projects to deliver on its objectives, timeline and budget
- Responsible for high quality solutions being delivered using quality assurance processes

- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading development and delivery teams
- Demonstrated strong team building and staff development experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop roadmaps and to translate business strategy into program plans and align to the IT strategy and roadmaps
- Practical communication skills, written and verbal to communicate at all levels in the college
- Proven ability to be innovative, flexible and open minded
- Has a can-do attitude and practices the art of the possible
- Extremely collaborative and creative in delivering results
- Proficient in both technical and soft skills, able to communicate clearly based on the audience
- Proven track record in managing complex situations and deliveries
