A few must haves for this role include:

- 4+ years experience in a similar role.
- Prior marketing experience in food retail or a similar fast paced environment.
- Experience in e-commerce
- Creative flair with proven success in increasing brand awareness and recall
- Financially & data literate and understands ROAS
- An ability to think outside the box and not afraid to take risks to deliver rewards.
- A customer-first mindset and a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
- A passion for food, and a keen interest to learn is a must

About the role

This role will be the driving force to help us better connect and engage with our customer base as well as continue to raise brand awareness across digital platforms and creative activations to attract both new and existing customers to shop with us. Sharing our brand stories in compelling and interesting ways that help us stand out from the crowd.

The general responsibilities of the role include:

- Developing, communicating and executing a strategic and tactical marketing plan/calendar
- Maintaining brand image, artistic direction and adhering to our brand values at all times
- Developing content and campaigns in tandem with our external creative agency
- Content development aligned to our brand voice and objectives
- Website management
- Management of our social media platforms
- Developing strategic alliances to increase brand awareness and strengthen the brand’s position
- PR - both external and internal communications
- Building relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
- Event management and in-store activations and experiences
- Planning and overseeing the successful execution of all marketing initiatives; measuring and reporting on the success of each initiative to drive continuous improvement
- Managing a marketing budget and ensuring a strong return on investment

About Hagen’s Organics

Hagen’s Organics is a second-generation family-run butcher and organic produce retailer based in Melbourne. With five stores located around the city at the Prahran Market, Queen Victoria Market, Richmond, Bentleigh and the South Melbourne Market as well as a hugely popular online offering, Hagen’s Organics provides the community with organic, ethically raised and locally sourced meat and premium organic produce.

Central to the Hagen’s Organic ethos is the Hagen’s family desire to provide a healthier, more environmentally friendly way of eating.
