**Strategic Transport Forecaster (Temporary full time 10 Months)**:

**In this role, you'll**:
In this role you will focus on the Regional & Outer Metropolitan (ROM) and Freight portfolios, you will be responsible for assisting in the running of strategic models for projects as required to produce robust and defensible outputs for different future scenarios. The role also produces reports and interprets model results for senior management and other clients.

This position is a temporary opportunity until 30 Jun 2025. Your home base will be at Macquarie Park with Hybrid (1 or 2 days at office) work arrangements.

**About you**
- Experience and knowledge with transport forecasting, principles and methodologies including Freight & Commodity transport Modelling.
- Experience in using transport modelling & transport planning software - EMME & CUBE & TransCad.
- Strong expertise in Python programming.

**Desirable**:
Transport modelling & policies that surrounds it including any legislation requirements or government frameworks.
