As a core member of the Australia People Team, you will play a key role in translating our business strategy into talent imperatives that deliver on our strategic vision of profitable growth, engaged people and outstanding client relationships.In this operational role, you will support key HR processes, working closely with the local HR Team. Your contributions will help advance our global and regional people agenda, ensuring we achieve our strategic objectives.
**Key Reponsibilities**
- Manage onboarding processes for new hires and coordinate the Australian induction, review materials regularly and ensure they are up to date. Support the onboarding process for new hires and manage the Australian induction, regularly reviewing and updating materials.
- Monitor employee probation periods and assist leaders in conducting timely reviews.
- Manage ‘work experience’ and temporary placements in Australia.
- Support the Senior HR Manager to deliver the annual performance evaluation process.
- Assist with the Australia salary and bonus review process.
- Collaborate with the Global Mobility team on relocation processes, both local and international.
- Coordinate client secondments and dedicated associate matters for Australian associates.
- Manage offboarding process for employee exits.
- Support NSW and VIC practicing certificate renewals on an annual basis
- Assist with WHS compliance requirements including maintaining hazard and incident registers and producing reports.
- Build and develop relationships with other Business Support functions, identifying process improvements and efficiencies.
- Prepare HR reports and respond to HR data queries.
**The skills and attributes we are looking for**
- Understand the Australian legislative framework, including the Fair Work Act.
- Proven track record in delivering generalist HR services across large, complex organizations or industries.
- Relevant Degree qualifications Change Management accreditation (advantageous)
- Workplace Relations and/or WH&S accreditations (advantageous)
- Continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and adapt positively to change.
- Team player.
- Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
- Excellent technical skills and ability to learn new systems (knowledge of Workday advantageous)
- Strong relationship building skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
- High level communication skills, demonstrating accuracy and reliability.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
