Position Objective
Lead Educators are responsible for demonstrating proficient teaching and learning skills as you coordinate the educational program for the allocated group of children. You will collaborate with educators in your room to ensure quality education, care and developmental outcomes for each child. As a room leader, you will provide ongoing support and assistance to the Nominated Supervisor to maintain compliance with the National Regulations and National Quality Standard.

Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 03 years experience required.
- Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and state-based learning frameworks.
- Capability to interact positively with children and families.
- Capability to guide children’s behaviours using positive behaviour guidance.
- Capability to lead within a room environment.
- A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.
- Capability to be flexible, adaptive, resilient and to work collaboratively with others.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound computer literacy skills.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent) as minimum requirement
- Child Protection Mandatory Training as per state-based requirement
- Approved Working with Children Card/Check as per state-based requirement

Desirable Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR Certificates

Position: Lead Educator
Salary - Award Rates - $59, 000 - $65,000 plus super
Location - Bundall - Gold Coast

**Salary**: $59,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bundall, QLD 4217: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
