**About the role**
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small fundraising team and use your administration skills to support our direct mail and other programs that raise vital funds to improve the quality of lives of Queenslanders affected by cancer.
Your work will help CCQ retain and expand relationships with existing donors and acquire new donors through multiple channels, including direct mail, digital, events and telemarketing.
This role is a Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic, highly organised and passionate about developing relationships with our incredible donors. With a keen eye for detail, you will enjoy supporting a small and dedicated team with administrative and budgeting tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop fundraising skills and use them to support CCQ’s cancer research, prevention and support programs.
**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
**Essential Skills**:
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and spoken. Demonstrated experience in successfully communicating with internal stakeholders, as well as agencies/contractors, is advantageous.
- Strong organisational, project and administration skills, including the ability to be self-motivated, prioritise workload and use initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, with intermediate skills in Excel.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Understanding of, or commitment to, the charitable sector.
- Experience with event planning and management.
