The Clinical Operations Support Officer role will provide critical daily operational support to at least one specific clinical directorate (e.g. Maternity Services, Women’s Health Services or Neonatal Services), working closely with the leaders of the clinical units.

**Your contribution**

The Clinical Operations Support Officer role will provide daily workforce-related support to Nursing and Midwifery areas - Maternity Services, Neonatal Services and Women's Health Services. The role will partner with the leaders of clinical areas (i.e. Nurse Unit Managers (NUMs) and Team Leaders (TLs)) along with the Access/Workforce Manager and the Allocations team to ensure that areas are appropriately staffed through filling day-to-day staffing shortfalls and providing recruitment-related administrative support.

**Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following**:

- Roster allocations support
- Recruitment support
- General administration, reporting and compliance support
- Quality improvement activities

**About you**

To be successful within this role you will ideally have a clinical and operational administration background, and you will need to have:

- Relevant tertiary qualification (Nursing, Midwifery or Business Administration or similar) and/or sufficient number of years experience in a high functioning coordination role, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Ability to efficiently manage and respond to high volume enquiries, administrative tasks, customer service requirements and support tasks in a complex environment
- Polished and professional manner and an ability to quickly form effective professional relationships with stakeholders
- Strong capability with collating and interpreting data, along with coordination, creation and presentation of reports
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional people experiences
