- Full-time, Fixed Term position until 30/06/2026- Salary HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation- Based at the Bundoora campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About The Position

The Health Clinic Officer will deliver high-quality customer service to patients, students, and staff at the RMIT Health Clinic, serving as the first point of contact at reception for all client inquiries. This role supports the administrative team in the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with University and health service policies and procedures. The Health Clinic Officer will also contribute to data management and reporting for the WIL team and provide administrative assistance to the Engagement team.

Evening shifts and rostered weekend work are essential to accommodate the clinic’s operating hours, which extend beyond standard University business hours.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
1 Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiation skills with the ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff, students, and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

2 Experience in providing excellent customer service.

4 Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

5 High level of proficiency in computer software packages with effectiveness, accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to learn new technical skills.

The STEM College Office Professional staff provide exceptional and efficient support to the College.

The Professional shared services Group delivers service to all four School across five distinct functions:

- Student Lifecycle
- Planning & Operations
- Technical Services
- Program & Governance
- WIL & Engagement

Relevant digital solutions - such as Workday - are used by the five teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies. The Group’s end-to-end professional support ensures a consistent approach to the operational and strategic functioning of the College and adherence to University policies and procedures.

The STEM College Office professional staff are instrumental in providing students with a transformative and enriched learning experience, and in supporting our research and engagement administration activities. Centralised in the STEM College Office, at our City and Bundoora campuses, professional staff members have opportunities to cross-skill, engage in professional development and develop their own career paths.
