Payroll Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced or up and coming leader to oversee the provision of payroll expertise, advice and services, as well as manage a small team of professionals to achieve fortnightly payroll requirements for our Minda workforce.

**What you will do**

Offering a high level of autonomy and the chance to work as part of a supportive team, this role will:

- Lead, coach and manage a team, including recruitment, performance management and feedback, to achieve a positive and supportive work environment.
- Lead the provision of timely payroll processing, and responses to employee queries.
- Manage end of month and end of year processes and the administration of payroll taxes, superannuation payments, taxable fringe benefits, termination payments, and increments.
- Manage employee and payroll data and system configurations, including troubleshooting, and testing of system upgrades to ensure accuracy and compliance.

**What you need for Success**
- Experience or potential to lead a payroll team in a medium to large organisation (circa 1000+) with a high level of customer service and accuracy.
- Sound understanding of payroll practices including calculation of entitlements, tax rates, superannuation and termination payments.
- Ability to manage data integrity, test system upgrades and trouble shoot system issues.
- Strong time management and attention to detail, and ability to make sound decisions.

**Desirable**:

- Leadership qualifications would be advantageous.
- Experience working in the disability sector or a genuine desire to work in community.

- Current unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence.
