Opportunities now exist for appropriately skilled people who are keen to join the Monadelphous family and grow with us in this region.We are currently seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our NSW Operations Team on a permanent basis.The role of Trainer and Assessor will be based in our Mt Thorley office with the occasional site visits.**Key Responsibilities include but not limited to.**
- Provide functional training advice & expertise to personnel across the Business Unit and/or Project.
- Provides training support services directly to internal and external customers.
- Prepare training information into reports to meet reporting requirements.
- Creates, develops, and implements improved training processes.
- Ensure all training processes and activities comply with relevant legislation and company policy.
- Capture and analyse qualitative or quantitative training data to identify, research and address training needs.
- Deliver programs and workshops; particularly internal systems training and assist to coordinate training across the Business Unit.
- Establishes professional networks with training colleagues across industry and professional associations.
- Works closely with Project/Operations Managers and Project training teams

**What you will bring**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in supplying services to the industrial maintenance or resources industry is highly desirable.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is essential.
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Must hold High Risk Workers Licence - LF, WP, Rigging and C6 & Scaffolding is desirable.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian Training competency HSE legislation, mining legislation and industry standards combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively.
- A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure.
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence - HR
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
