**About the position**

We are looking for a motivated and experienced trainer and assessor to deliver Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) CHC33021. This role can be casual or part-time. Flexible working hours.

This role will focus delivering training and assessment to both domestic and international students with mixed study modes. The trainer and assessor will oversee all aspects of training and assessment of this qualification including contextualising and validating learning and assessment resources, providing regular feedback to management on training delivery and liaising with industry partners to ensure training outcomes are achieved.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and compliant training in our campus in Brisbane.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and mentoring to learners that supports them to achieve their career goals.
- Liaise with age care organisations and service providers to facilitate students’ work placement.
- Provide advice to the management team on evolving industry training needs and work with management and academic team in the continuous improvement process to ensure high quality training delivery.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification.
- Hold a qualification in Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) or higher.
- Proven VET training experience
- Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment and dedicating yourself to supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and maintaining industry and VET currency.
- Strong level of interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
