Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of strategic investment opportunities for nature-based solutions and carbon removal technologies.
  • Conduct commercial and technical due diligence on major investment opportunities to ensure alignment with our long-term net emissions targets.
  • Formulate strategies for meeting domestic and international compliance obligations and voluntary commitments in the carbon market.
  • Analyse market trends, supply and demand dynamics, pricing, and policy developments to inform investment decisions.
  • Collaborate across the business to align with our Climate Action Plan and Integrity Framework.
  • Represent us in industry forums to drive thought leadership in carbon markets and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in investment, strategy or analytical roles in carbon markets, strategy consulting, venture capital, corporate finance, funds management, renewable energy, utilities, or infrastructure advisory.
  • Strong commercial acumen, financial analysis, and investment evaluation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of carbon markets, carbon projects and credits, and their regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical and market concepts to senior stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and collaborative approach.
