Job Opportunity

Regional Operations is seeking a strategic leader to oversee incident management, resource planning, and liaison with Firecom for the region.

This role ensures operational readiness and effective response to incidents within the Region. As a key contributor to regional operational service delivery, you will provide leadership and support for operational capability within the Region, focusing on timeliness and appropriateness of response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage regional operations and logistics, overseeing appliance mobilisation, mutual aid protocols, standby needs, and human resource deployment.
  • Lead operational awareness and oversight in the Region, contributing to situational awareness systems development.
  • Oversee day-to-day staffing and on-call arrangements, implementing emergency response policies as required.
  • Assist the Executive Manager Regional Operations in contributing to regional operations management plans, including performance insights, to ensure bushfire response capability and development pathways for the Region.
Requirements

Applicants must possess Rural Officer Two (RFSO2) or equivalent industry experience, appropriate skills, and knowledge. Volunteers and external parties with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply.
