Are you ready for a challenging and rewarding role in the engineering sector? We are seeking a talented Graduate Mechanical Engineer to support our team in decarbonisation projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience, structured development and build their skills in a leading sustainable construction materials company.

As a Graduate Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting day-to-day maintenance operations and addressing real engineering challenges
  • Investigating problems through root cause analysis and applying practical solutions
  • Monitoring equipment performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Using data to inform decision-making and drive reliability across the plant
  • Contributing to planning and delivering maintenance activities, shutdowns, and capital projects
  • Participating in reliability and asset improvement projects to shape future operations
  • Building leadership skills with opportunities to supervise small teams
  • Working as part of a team delivering our Decarbonisation projects

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Completed or near completion of a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree
  • A collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills and aptitude for data analysis
  • Resilience, proactivity and willingness to step outside comfort zone
  • Motivation to grow, learn and take on new challenges
