Light Vehicle Fitter Position

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the mining industry with a prestigious contractor.

  • Key responsibilities will include surface workshop maintenance duties, including problem-solving, diagnostics, servicing, and general repairs of light vehicles on site.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining extensive ranges of fleet light vehicles on site.
Roster and Working Hours

You will work 7 day shifts and 7 night shifts, followed by 14 days off, working 12-hour shifts. You will fly to site on the morning of day 1 and return home after night shift on shift 14, using company time.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade qualifications in automotive or heavy diesel.
  • Mining experience is highly desirable or experience with heavy vehicles, civil, or agricultural equipment.
  • A team player attitude and a positive approach to work.
