Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to lead our civil field engineering activities. As a key team member, you will coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion.

This role involves collaborating with engineers on constructability and design issues relating to the civil discipline, as well as establishing a working relationship with the Project Manager. You will be responsible for quantity take-off, control, tracking, reporting, and forecasting for civil discipline, and will also direct the preparation of requisitions for field-procured materials.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with engineers on constructability and design issues relating to the civil discipline
  • Establish a civil design/field engineering working relationship with the Project Manager
  • Responsible for quantity take-off, control, tracking, reporting, and forecasting for civil discipline
  • Specify civil criteria for construction of temporary facilities
  • Direct preparation of requisitions for field-procured materials
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant technical discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum of six years relevant work experience or 12 years relevant experience in the absence of a degree
  • Working knowledge of construction surveying, excavation, and backfill operations, and concrete installation
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H)
  • Must be computer-literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
