Senior Legal Counsel Opportunity

This is a rare chance for an experienced in-house property and construction lawyer to play a central legal role in a high-profile cross-border infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the project development agreement, including the lease agreement with the developer.
  • Lead the legal interface with local counsel, review advice, oversee contract alignment, and manage jurisdictional differences.
  • Provide practical guidance on contract administration issues such as variations, extensions of time, and cost claims.
  • Advise on risk management, dispute resolution, and compliance frameworks across both jurisdictions.
  • Support broader project governance processes, including reporting to executives and project boards.
About You

We are looking for a senior commercial lawyer who can combine technical legal skills with commercial insight and strong cultural awareness.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience advising on major infrastructure projects, capital works or international construction projects.
  • Familiarity with cross-border legal issues, including construction and real estate (working alongside local counsel).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, including government bodies, regulators, and developers.
  • A collaborative, pragmatic style and a track record of building strong relationships.
