Major Projects Job Description

Our major projects and construction practice is a leading provider of legal services to clients involved in major infrastructure development, natural resource extraction, and other large-scale capital projects.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced lawyer with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and other lawyers on a wide range of matters, including:

  • Procurement and contract documentation, including negotiation and drafting of contracts for clients.
  • Facilities management and maintenance, including the development of strategies for managing risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Services contracts, including the drafting and review of agreements for clients.
  • Construction and asset disposal projects, including the provision of advice on project financing, risk management, and dispute resolution.
  • Disaster recovery and workplace health and safety law, including the provision of advice on crisis management and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical legal skills, knowledge of government procurement policies, and experience in drafting and reviewing project documentation. They will also be able to interact confidently with clients and work in a team environment.
