About the Opportunity

Our construction and infrastructure team is thriving. We are seeking experienced front-end lawyers to support the development of major infrastructure and energy projects for domestic and international clients.

We have created a full-service offering unique in the Australian market, with the capability to support clients throughout their entire project lifecycle. Our team of leading lawyers provide transactional, advisory, and contentious services on complex local, international, and multi-jurisdictional projects.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Partners and colleagues on high-profile front-end energy and infrastructure projects primarily with major contractors and developers.
  • Have a high level of responsibility and autonomy to lead matters or work streams.
  • Be a technical expert who is confident advising clients with complex drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Contribute strategically to proposal and tender efforts.
Requirements
  • Be a qualified lawyer with at least four years' experience (in-house or private practice).
  • Have demonstrated expertise in front-end construction and infrastructure or energy markets.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities under pressure or within tight timeframes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Be commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development.
