We are seeking an experienced front-end lawyer to support major infrastructure and energy projects for domestic and international clients.

The construction of major infrastructure and energy is a key area of focus for us. We offer a unique full-service solution, supporting clients throughout their project lifecycle.

About the Opportunity

We seek candidates in the Melbourne market. As a core member of our team, you will work closely with Partners and colleagues on high-profile front-end energy and infrastructure projects primarily with major contractors and developers.

You will lead matters or work streams with a high level of responsibility and autonomy, requiring technical expertise, drafting, and negotiation skills. Additionally, you will contribute strategically to business development activities, proposal and tender efforts, and develop valuable relationships and market presence.

You will have the following skills and attributes:

  • A qualified lawyer with at least four years' experience (in-house or private practice)
  • Demonstrated expertise in front-end construction and infrastructure or energy markets
  • Strong organisational skills, quickly assimilating information and handling multiple priorities under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confidently liaising with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-performing team and bring energy, passion, inclusion, and empathy to the role
