As an Emergency Services Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of employees. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for helping others and ensuring their safety.
You will be responsible for providing medical and rescue services to employees requiring treatment for emergency and non-emergency medical conditions. Working closely with the site Emergency Response Team, you will ensure timely and effective response to incidents.
This includes coordinating and integrating with external service providers, leading and advising contract Emergency Services Officers, and conducting AOD specimen collections. To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated industry experience as an Emergency Services Officer or equivalent.
You should hold relevant certifications such as the Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Response. We are looking for a self-motivated and customer-focused individual with strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and numerical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site access control and security co-ordination
- Co-ordination of the Emergency Response Team
- Fire protection systems monitoring and maintenance reporting
- Engagement with internal business units and external service providers
- Lead, advise, and train contract Emergency Services Officers
- Conduct AOD specimen collections
About You:
- Demonstrated industry experience as an Emergency Services Officer or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Response or equivalent
- RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue or equivalent
- HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- A current national police clearance
- Western Australian C Class licence unrestricted or higher
