Product Security Expert Role

We are seeking a Product Security Analyst to join our Cyber Operations and Compliance team.

  • Monitoring network traffic and event logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously assess security control coverage and effectiveness.
  • Perform Vulnerability assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommend appropriate security measures.
  • Manage or Support Incident response activities and post incident analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Traffic Monitoring and Threat Identification.
  • Security Control Assessment and Improvement.
  • Vulnerability Management and Auditing.
  • Incident Response and Analysis.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Australian Defence Security Principles Framework and associated policies.
  • Understanding of developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment.
  • Certifications or demonstratable experience in Incident response, auditing, vulnerability assessment, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls or penetration testing, IT or security tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Clearance and Citizenship:

  • NV1 clearance required with ability to obtain NEGATIVE VETTING 2 level clearance.
  • Australian Citizenship is required for Defence security requirements.
